Dear Chaka Runa Family, our beautiful Awaken Tribe,
We are so happy and full of gratitude for each and every one of you.
Thanks to the immense support we received, from so many of you, coming from different countries and offering help in so many beautiful ways, we were able to make the Chaka Runa Amazon Ecovillage dream a R E A L I T Y.
It is here now... It is a Reality.
The Dream began in 2020, through a clear vision received in Ceremony by Don Gino, when the Mother asked him to create a Community in her Home, The Amazon, to preserve the Rainforest, The Master Plants and Ancestral Shamanic Knowledge while living in harmony with one another, and giving back to Pachamama, who provides us with so many Medicine Plants. This message is now taking form through the Chaka Runa Ecovillage Amazon Reforestation Plant Medicine Project, has already begun and will soon move forward with the opening of the Chaka Runa Shamanic School.
We have an Ecovillage... The work begins.
We are an Awaken World Family, present in so many countries across all continents.
You’ll find us in Europe, America, Africa, Asia, and Oceania.
It has been a tremendous effort by Don Gino and the Chaka Runa Team supporting countless individuals in their personal healing and awakening journeys during the last 12 years..
During this process, a deep Family Bond started, and a strong and truthful feeling of Brotherhood and Sisterhood connection was built within each group.
Now we have an Ecovillage.
Now it is time to bring our Community together.
Now it is time to make our Community bigger and stronger.
Now it is time to give back to Mother Earth and Mother Ayahuasca by taking care of Pachamama, Nature and the Rainforest... Her Home
Now it is time to work together as One to bring Awareness to Humanity. Unity in Diversity.

WHERE ARE WE STANDING
With the funds raised through the donations, loans and shamanic gatherings in 2024, 2025 and 2026, we have been able to built an incredible eco-friendly Wellness Centre, which is the first pillar of the Chaka-Runa Ecovillage.
We have also made significant progress on the general Ecovillage infrastructure. This means we have a complete dirt/gravel tracks net along the whole site, where needed, to keep all the different areas of the project interconnected.
We hosted our first Dietas in June 2025 with great success!
Next, we will continue to expand and build what is still needed for the completion of the Ecovillage overall project, and at the same time, hold our upcoming Dietas and Andean Programs, also facilitating complementary wellbeing programs for our Community at the Chaka Runa Ecovillage Wellness Centre and Shamanic School.

Roads, Paths, Bridges and Stairs
We have upgraded, with a final gravel layer, 2 km of public dirt roads to provide clear and easy access to the land and efficient connectivity between the Ecovillage and our neighbouring communities, Lejia and Shamboyacu.
We also created a 1 km dirt road to access our reception area from the public road.
At the same time, hundreds of meters of in-land dirt tracks and 10 wooden bridges have been built to cross our beautiful creeks, giving access to the Wellness Centre and interconnecting every sector of the Ecovillage, while also providing access to our beautiful 3 creeks and 10 waterfalls.

Water Supply & Solar Energy
Developing the project in non-invasive way was a MUST.
Building and installing sustainable systems for clean water, eco-friendly sewage disposal, and renewable energy was our axis in building the Ecovillage infrastructure.
We have accomplished our challenge. There is piped running water throughout the Ecovillage. Our source of water is provided by the land itself, through underground and inner mountain water, which is processed through sedimentation tanks and later stored in two wooden tower platforms to support our many storage and distribution water tanks.
We have two large water tanks for the Wellness Centre, five water tanks for the Ecovillage, and two water tanks for the Plant Medicine Farm. All our sewage system is already piped and based on biodigester tanks.
To support sustainable living, we’ve installed multiple solar panels around the Ecovillage.

Sacred Maloca
Through our Shamanic Journey, we have visited many Malocas around the world, and without a doubt, we can say that the Chaka Runa Maloca stands among the very best.
Due to it's hight quality, selected eco-friendly materials, hard natural wood Quinilla, perfect size, natural Palmiche palm leaves weaved roof, strong foundations, and excellent building labour capacity, we make it a true gem.
Our ceremonial space is now fully operative, supported by 6 flushing toilets, 2 showers and 2 sinks.
It is a unique and spacious Maloca, the Mother’s Temple, where we hold our sacred ceremonies.

Tambos and Glamping Tents
We’ve built 30 wooden platforms with solid foundations to host our Tambos and Glamping tents, each equipped with a complete bathroom.
So far, 23 Tambos are finished and 7 Glamping tents have been installed.
Tambos are constructed with wooden frames and mosquito nets instead of walls, offering a unique experience of living immersed in the rainforest.
Glamping tents are waterproof, comfortable, and designed to blend with nature through surrounding windows.
Each Tambo and Glamping unit is furnished and includes a private bathroom with running water, a flushing toilet, a natural sink, and an open shower.
Four solar water heater tanks have been installed to serve all accommodation units.
A main gravel track connects Maloca with every Tambo and Glamping tent, with each unit enjoying its own private access.

This is a place to learn, to teach, to grow, and to share.

The volunteer program will run in 2028. The minimum commitment is one month.

Thanks to your incredible contributions, we’ve brought the Chaka Runa Wellness Centre to life, turning vision into reality.
This is a powerful first step, and there’s still much to be done: installing hydroelectric and solar energy systems, building a maintenance warehouse, seven more Tambos, volunteer accommodation, and the Shamanic School.
These next steps will only be possible through the continued support of our Chaka Runa Family, through crowdfunding and private donations.
