Native Sacred Medicines

We have extensive experience working with Native Sacred Medicines in the most professional way and always ensuring the highest levels of safety for all participants.

We base all our cleansing and healing practices in the most authentic, ancient knowledge that we have inherited from the Andean and Amazonian Lineages in Peru.

It is important to understand that these medicines have powerful spirits full of wisdom and compassion, and should be only used in a proper ceremony setting. Working with them demands Reverence, Respect, Humbleness and Gratitude. Each one serves its own purpose and has a unique effect at all levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Our goal is to create a safe, sacred environment and bring the right vibrations to bridge you to the spiritual realm. This will allow you to trust and surrender to the medicines’ spirit, for it is the only way to find the portal to their healing power and wisdom. Finally your attitude and willingness to heal is the key that will open this door.

We work with five Native Sacred Medicines:

Ayahuasca

Ayahuasca

Ayahuasca is a powerful brew from the Amazon, made from the Banisteriopsis Caapi vine and the Psychotria Viridis leaf or Chacruna. The Chacruna leaves contain DMT, a powerful psychedelic, and the Ayahuasca Vine contains monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), which work synergistically with the DMT to produce a long-lasting entheogenic experience.

It has been used in traditional rituals among native tribes of the Amazon for thousands of years with many purposes like divination, diagnosis and healing, sharpening their senses for hunting, social gatherings and shamanic initiations.

This sacred native brew, also known as Mother Ayahuasca for its very distinct female energy, is mostly used in Peru to provide deep healing and alignment of the mind, body, spirit and emotions, leading to awakening and positive life transformations.

Research and testimonials suggest that Ayahuasca is a healing tool for problems like trauma, addiction, phobia, alcoholism, depression, stress, PTSD, low self esteem, childhood abuse, among others. This is possible due to a powerful level of introspection that sparks self-awareness and the understanding of forgotten experiences buried in the subconscious mind. Most people also report a sense of connectivity and empathy with others and mother nature.

To get deep healing during the process, a safe, supportive space held by an experienced Shaman is imminent in order to quiet the mind and surrender. During the ceremony, the Shaman will bridge you to the spiritual realm of the sacred Ayahuasca Vine, the master plants and power animals, and guide you through your own personal journey.

Mother Ayahuasca opens the door and shows us the way, but it is our job to put the insights and messages into action.

Tobacco

Tobacco is one of earth’s greatest, most ancients and powerful healing master plants.

The Mapacho, made solely from the tobacco plant Nicotiana Rustica, has been used by South American indigenous tribes in spiritual ceremonies for more than 3,000 years.

It is the main tool used by the Shaman for diagnosis, protection and cleansing. The grandfathers’ ancient guardian spirits work through this plant to cleanse the space from low vibrations and bring energetic protection, clearing away superfluous and heavy energies.

It also works at a high synergy with the Plant Medicine spirit, clearing away obstructions and allowing the visions to come through with more intensity. It is used during Kambo ceremonies as well, to facilitate opening up to the healing process.

These are some of the many benefits of the Mapacho:

  • Clears the energy field bringing balance and realignment.

  • Has a grounding, centering effect and helps with intention setting.

  • Increases the power of others plants while pushing them into action.

  • Flushes out toxins from the body and strengthens the immune system.

  • Helps to fight infections due to its antiviral and antibacterial properties.

  • Works as a strong purgative to cleanse the body energetically and physically before Plant Medicine ceremonies.

  • Builds a strong connection with the Maestro Tobacco when dieting the plant.

Tobacco
Kambo

Kambo

Kambo is a sacred medicine that comes from the Amazonian giant monkey frog (Phyllomedusa Bicolor). Native tribes in South America’s rainforest use its secretion in rituals for cleansing and healing purposes.

The ceremony is performed by an experienced shaman who will determine the right dosage and placement of the Kambo. Early in the morning while fasting, superficial burn points are made on the participants' skin using the end of a burning stick, and the secretion is then applied to the open wounds. Within minutes, it travels through the lymphatic system showing immediate effects.

The body and mind will go through great stress due to the poisonous nature of the secretion. Sweating, muscle spasms, increased heart rate, dizziness, swelling of the lymph nodes and purging are the most common symptoms during the Kambo ceremony. Drinking water prior and during the ritual is necessary to rehydrate and help flush the body's toxins.

Kambo is mainly used to purify and reboot the immune system. It has also been associated with deep physical, emotional and energetic cleansing, liver and kidney detox, increased stamina and the cure of body ailments. It is also considered as an alternative that can help treat degenerative diseases, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, migraines, infections and addictions, among others.

Above all, it helps us release emotions like anger, hatred and sadness; bringing restoration, renewal and transformation to our lives.

Rapé

Rapé

It is a sacred shamanic medicine with profound healing effects that has been used for thousands of years by native tribes in the Amazon. It is important to always use this medicine with respect and in a ceremonial environment.

Rapé is made of a complex blend of pulverized sacred plants. Its main ingredient is the Tobacco master plant (Nicotiana Rustica). In addition, it includes the alkaline ashes of other plants such as mint, tonka bean, cinnamon, clover, among others. Most shamans keep the exact ingredients of their particular kind of Rapé a secret.

It is applied with the Kuripé, a native ceremonial pipe made of bone or bamboo. The powder is served by an experienced practitioner, blowing it into each of the nostrils. While it’s ideal to use a two-person pipe to apply the snuff, there are also pipes for personal use called Tepi.

It can be used on its own or as a complementary tool during Plant Medicine and Kambo ceremonies, to help unblock the mind and surrender. Due to its cleansing properties, there is a chance of experiencing nausea, vomiting and sweating when used.

Among others, the use of Rapé has been related to the following benefits:

  • Helps focus and sharpen the mind.

  • Cleanses the body, mind and energetic field allowing to be in tune with yourself.

  • Clears sinuses of mucus and bacteria, helping to combat respiratory ailments.

  • Brings a calming, grounding effect on feelings and emotions.

Sananga

Sananga

Sananga is a very powerful eye medicine made from the roots and bark of the Tabernaemontana Undulata shrub. It has been used by traditional Amazonian natives for many years to heal spiritual and physical ailments and lift what the Shamans call “Panema” or low energetic fields.

These eye drops are commonly used in preparation for Plant Medicine ceremonies due to its cleansing properties and capacity to increase visual perception. It is also used in conjunction with Rapé in Kambo ceremonies.

When applied, it causes an intense burning sensation that typically lasts for a few minutes. It is necessary to surrender and relax as much as possible to let the medicine do its work.

These are some of the benefits associated with the use of Sananga:

  • Increases depth and color perception.

  • Helps treat ocular diseases like myopia, astigmatism, glaucoma and blindness.

  • Thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties, it has been reported to help with skin infections.

  • May help prevent macular degeneration due to its anti-fungal and antioxidant nature.

At the spiritual level, it resets the energetic field, unblocks and re-aligns the chakras, activates the pineal gland and deeply cleanses the aura.
