The Master Plants Dieta Program

PRE-DIETA

Our aim as your host is to provide you with a Stress-Free experience since your arrival in Peru. There are important and needed guidelines each participant needs to consider, and follow, for your safety and comfort. For that purpose, there will be a Dieta group on Signal where the guidelines will be easily accessible.

Sacred Valley Plant Dieta – What to Expect

The latest day to arrive in the city of Cusco is one day before your Dieta begins. On the first day of the program, we will gather at 8:00 a.m. for the group welcome breakfast at the designated meeting point, which will be shared closer to the event dates. During the breakfast, Don Gino will warmly welcome you, helping you feel safe and part of our Chaka Runa family. He will also explain the logistics of traveling from Cusco to the Retreat Center, and you will receive the safety protocol guidelines to help you prepare fully for the journey ahead.

Arrival at the Urubamba Retreat Center

Upon arrival at the Retreat Center in Urubamba, the whole group will gather in the ceremony room where Don Gino will explain the wonderful process you are about to go through and answer any questions. This is also where you will be able to meet everyone and become part of the beautiful community that will support you during your entire stay. After the meeting, you will be guided on a tour of the retreat venue and assigned to your rooms.

Individual Guidance With Don Gino in English, Spanish or Italian.

Later, Don Gino will have a one-on-one conversation with the new Dieta participants in English, Spanish or Italian, as well as with returning participants when needed. The aim is to create a bond and understand what you are bringing into the ceremonies. This will give him the information and tools to provide a personal healing experience, opening the right doors for the Medicine to go where it is most needed. This personal approach has shown outstanding healing and awakening results on people from all walks of life around the world. In the evening, the group will gather in the dining room to have a last supper before opening the Dieta.

Opening the Dieta

The Dieta starts the next day with the whole group gathering in the gardens for the Native Plants’ Flowering Bath and Protection Bath, which will cleanse you from the heavy energies brought from the cities and give you energetic protection through your Dieta process. Through the use of carefully chosen plants and flowers, this ceremony awakens vitality, restores balance, and offers spiritual protection.

The first Plant Medicine ceremony will be held on the same day at night.

Sacred Plant Ceremonies Throughout the Program

The next Plant Medicine ceremonies will take place every other day throughout the rest of the program. At the very beginning of your Dieta, Don Gino will explain the Medicine Plants available and their benefits, guiding you in choosing the ones to accompany your journey. During the Dieta, one liter of Medicine / Master Plant tea will be distributed daily to each participant. Drinking this tea is an essential part of the Dieta, helping you connect with the spirits of the plants and allowing the medicine to work more deeply within you

Kambo, Rapé & Sananga Ceremony

On the third and seventh day, the Kambo, Rapé, and Sananga ceremonies will be offered as add‑on activities. These sacred practices will deeply cleanse your emotional and physical bodies, helping to reset and harmonize your energy field.

Creative Workshops - Visionary Painting, Charango, Guitar and Flute

On the third day, the first of four sessions of the Visionary Painting Workshop will begin, along with classes in Charango (Andean guitar), Flute, and Guitar. These workshops will take place in between Plant Medicine ceremony days, sparking your creativity and allowing you to express yourself. They will support your transformation and healing process while also guiding you in learning to play medicine music.

Connection With Sacred Sites

As part of your program, you will enjoy an included day trip through the Sacred Valley. This tour features visits to the ancient Inca town of Ollantaytambo, with its impressive stone terraces and living history, and the fascinating salt mines of Maras, where thousands of salt pools cascade down the mountainside. Together, these sites offer a glimpse into both the grandeur of Inca engineering and the enduring traditions of Andean culture. This gentle excursion will help you relax and put your mind at ease, preparing you for the final ceremony

Closing Ceremony & Cutting the Dieta

The 5th and closing ceremony is held during daytime, serving as a powerful metaphor of coming from the darkness into the light. This feels like a celebration full of joy that brings a deeper connection among the group, creating a community with a long‑lasting bond. By the end of this ceremony, Don Gino will cut your Dieta by serving you a spoon of an old Mestizo‑Shipibo recipe, a sacred offering that bursts in your mouth with rich flavors and awakens deep appreciation for the food and tastes we so often take for granted in our daily lives. This is truly an incredible and unforgettable experience to conclude a long and challenging journey.

On the same day after lunch, for the final closure, the whole group will gather in the ceremony room, where Don Gino will share the Post‑Dieta Instructions and Integration Guidelines to support you as you return home.
