TRADITIONAL PRACTICE, SHARED AS A COUPLE
The Couples Dieta experience
The Couples Dieta follows the same traditional Master Plant Dieta practice as our Amazon programs, rooted in the living Mestizo tradition and guided by Don Gino and the Chaka Runa team. You share the retreat as a couple, while each person follows their own process.
Master Plants and ceremony
Four Ayahuasca ceremonies and daily Master Plant tea form the heart of the program. Ceremonies include personal Arkana, traditional cleansing and the serving of Rapé.
Shared experiences
A Sacred Flower Bath, the Smashing the Vine ceremony and a drumming circle with Don Gino bring moments of ritual and connection to your days. Time in the rainforest offers opportunities to explore nature together.
Creativity and quiet time
Alongside rest and personal reflection, you can explore the same workshops offered in our other Amazon Dietas. The first session of each workshop is included, with further sessions available at an additional cost. Between scheduled activities, there is space for journaling, quiet time as a couple and simply being in nature.

Planning your travel
Return to Tarapoto on Day 8, 5 July. Arrange onward travel for 6 July or later. Your accommodation in Tarapoto before and after the retreat is at your own expense. The group breakfast at La Patarashca Hotel on Day 1 is included.
REST, NATURE AND TIME TOGETHER
Your stay in the Amazon
At the Chaka Runa Ecovillage, the rainforest becomes part of your daily rhythm, with space to rest, spend time together and reflect on your experience.
Your private tambo
Each participant stays in their own private tambo with its own bathroom, providing space for individual rest and reflection throughout the Dieta.
Dieta meals
Two Dieta meals per day are included. On Day 1, breakfast at La Patarashca Hotel, welcome lunch and dinner are included.
Massage and relaxation
Massage is available daily throughout the retreat. Each participant’s first full body relaxing massage is complimentary. Additional massages can be booked during your stay for an extra fee.

Once enough couples have confirmed their interest, deposits will open on 1 January 2027.
