The Chaka Runa Retreat Center is reserved for your group, with our team on site to support your stay.
Accommodation in the rainforest
We can accommodate up to 30 people, including organisers, in 23 Tambos and 7 Glamping tents. Groups of up to 50 may be accommodated with shared accommodation, by prior arrangement.
The Maloca and shared facilities
Use the spacious Maloca for your group sessions, workshops and gatherings, with access to the kitchen, reception and dining area.
Time in nature
Explore the forest paths, creeks, ten waterfalls and natural pools within the Chaka Runa land.

Our kitchen and support staff help with the practical running of your stay.

Dates and duration
The minimum stay is two nights. Contact us with your preferred dates and group size so we can discuss availability and the arrangements for your retreat or event.
Ceremonies and plant medicine
Any ceremonies led by external facilitators must be discussed and approved in advance, including the practices involved and who will lead them.
Chaka Runa’s own ceremonies and master plant work are offered through our Dieta programs and are not included in venue rental.
Meals for your group
We plan meals with you according to your group’s needs. Our kitchen staff are on site, and bringing your own chef can be discussed in advance.

Getting here
The Chaka Runa Retreat Center is near Shamboyaku, approximately three hours by road from Tarapoto. We arrange transport all the way from Tarapoto to the venue and coordinate arrival and departure details with you.
